Bin Roof Bulge

Because of the unfavorable harvest conditions this fall it is important to remember to open a lid/door (manufacturer’s recommendation) on your aeration bins whenever you run the fans. Due to high moisture content and freezing temps, the vents on these bins have a tendency to “ice over” while the fans are running, which in turn creates enough pressure inside the bin to bulge the roof. We do provide coverage for this loss.
