How to report an insurance claim

Report a Claim

  • Report all losses promptly, even if there doesn’t appear to be any damage and even if you think you are not at fault.
  • Look up policy to submit an online claim. Call your agent if there is a serious loss involving bodily injury or death.
  • Do not admit fault.
  • Do not promise payment.
  • Do not make any statements regarding the accident to anyone except the police or a representative of De Smet Farm Mutual.
